Is Ed Sheeran staying in Fota Island?

There are rumours of sightings but nobody seems to be able to produce photographic evidence.

Strong rumours emerged of Ed Sheeran being seen arriving at Fota Island Resort following the debut concert of his European tour at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Friday night. However the exact accommodation of the star is being kept a closely guarded secret.

Fota Island resort’s official response seems to be “no comment” adding fuel to the rumour mill but as one competitor said, that doesn’t mean he’s there, it just means they like the publicity the rumour has generated.

Unlike Michael Jackson’s well publicised stay at the old Jury’s Hotel in the city in 1988, it seems we’ll have to wait until he’s well and truly moved on before we know if he paid a visit to our beautiful island.
