Highlighting the Ring of Cork as a noteworthy tourist region in the RDS

At the recent world holiday show in the RDS, it was all about highlighting the perfect holiday options that are available both here and worldwide for people looking to plan their next holiday. Mixing it up with representatives from major tourist areas around the world were local branches from our part of the country south and east cork, on hand to highlight to visitors the untapped tourist potential of the Ring of Cork.

When it comes to touring cork, West Cork may be the more famous for its scenic attractions, but the south and east cork is its overlooked equal in terms of scenery and cultural attractions. The Ring of Cork is a tourist region of east cork which includes our own Fota Island along with the neighboring areas of Youghal, Midleton, Cobh, Ballincollig and Carrigaline and has a huge range of scenic, cultural and family family delights to rival the west.
